Jacket + Pole

Jacket + Pole is a unique mixed-media artwork created in 2022, measuring 100×100 cm. This piece is deeply rooted in synchronicity, where different artists and elements intertwined to create something greater than the sum of its parts. A powerful witch crafted a magical pole, inspired by the needle the artist used for sewing paintings. The artist contributed pieces and objects collected during travels, infusing the pole with personal history. Another artist then created a jacket based on the legend of La Señora de la Muerte y Christos, a story previously depicted in one of the artist’s live performance paintings. The result is a work of art that embodies collaboration, storytelling, and mystical connection.
