Dorian Gray is an 80×110 cm oil-on-canvas self-portrait, painted in a time of deep personal introspection and emotional turmoil.

Created during a period when the artist’s father was ill, the piece embodies an internal battle: the clash between the egoism of pursuing one’s dreams and the pressing weight of real-life responsibilities. In those moments, painting became both a liberation and a condemnation—a way to free the inner self while simultaneously confronting the demands of a world that expects only “useful” actions.

With its dark tones and expressive depth, Dorian Gray serves as a raw and honest confrontation with the duality of human nature—a piece that resonates with anyone who has ever struggled between passion and duty, self-expression and societal expectation.

MIxed Material, 110x110 cm. A bold and liberating self-portrait—marking the return to painting after a year of creative exile in the world of photography and marketing.

Licenziamento in Nero is a 110×110 cm mixed material self-portrait, painted after a year-long hiatus from art.

In pursuit of financial stability, the artist put aside his career as a fashion designer, diving into photography and marketing—a detour that demanded full focus, pulling him away from painting. For a year, creativity was redirected, repurposed, contained.

This piece marks the moment of liberation—the instant when the brush was picked up again, reclaiming the raw energy that had been suppressed. Painted on a wooden panel, it stands as a powerful and unapologetic “selfie”, not of appearance, but of artistic identity rediscovered.

A painting of rebirth and rebellion, Licenziamento in Nero captures the emotional weight of artistic exile—and the exhilarating return to true creative freedom.

Chalk on towel 65x120 cm. A playful and unconventional creation—born from a spontaneous artistic impulse during a Catalonian getaway, where an ordinary hotel towel became an extraordinary canvas.

Asciugamano Catalano is a 65×120 cm Chalk on towel piece, rooted in a fun and unexpected artistic moment during a trip to Lloret de Mar, Catalonia.

The story unfolds in a hotel room, where two beautiful, fresh, and youthful women played in the bathtub and asked the artist for a portrait. Starting with a simple sheet of paper, frustration with its size and limitations led to an impulsive decision—the hotel towel became the new canvas. Thus, the first-ever landscape on an improvised textile was born.

A testament to spontaneity, creativity, and the magic of unconventional inspiration, Asciugamano Catalano captures a moment of artistic freedom, where the desire to create overcomes any material constraints.

Take from Back is a 130×70 cm artwork created with curving and cement, serving as both an exercise and a question. It explores the relationship between touch, memory, and perception—when giving a massage, do your hands remember the shape they once traced? Can they “see” without eyes?

The piece delves into the idea that our hands hold an unconscious knowledge, an ability to recall and perceive form beyond visual input. It challenges the viewer to consider the body as a memory archive, where sensation and movement become a language of their own.

With its unique materiality and thought-provoking concept, Take from Back is more than an artwork—it’s an invitation to reflect on the hidden intelligence of touch and the unseen ways we experience the world.

Curving and cement, 35x35 cm. A deeply personal exploration of identity—translating the body into art to answer the question: which part of me defines who I am?

Mi Vida is a 35×35 cm artwork crafted with curving and cement, born from a personal reflection on self-identity and the physical form.

A conversation with a friend sparked the idea—”I believe each of us is represented by a part of our body. Mine is my nose; it gives me my voice for singing but also burdens me with allergies.” This led to the inevitable question: Which part of my body represents me?

The answer manifested in this painting. More than just a depiction, it is a self-portrait in essence rather than appearance, an attempt to materialize one’s personal connection to their physical self. Through texture and form, Mi Vida invites the viewer to ponder: What part of your body tells your story?

Mixed material, 120x60 cm. A bold action painting experiment—carved from a salvaged block of polystyrene, where inspiration and texture collide in a unique artistic vision.

The Clown with Tities is a 120×60 cm mixed-media artwork born from an unconventional action painting experiment.

It all started with a massive polystyrene block, left over from a construction site. Seeing beyond its industrial purpose, the artist requested it, much like Michelangelo seeing a figure within the marble. The idea was to create a pointillist effect using a hammer—but such a technique required the right inspiration.

Years passed before the perfect moment arrived. It was an unexpected spark from a relationship that set the creative process into motion, transforming the raw material into an expressive and textured composition.

With an unconventional origin story and an innovative approach, The Clown with Tities is more than just a painting—it’s a testament to how art emerges from spontaneity, material, and the moments that shape us. (And no, the artist didn’t steal his grandfather’s hammer—just borrowed it for the cause!)

Nulla si crea, nulla si distrugge is a 100×60 cm artwork crafted using recovered materials from the artist’s atelier. A wood panel, Dash modeling paste, and wall tempera paint come together to form a striking composition, where the rawness of the materials enhances the depth of expression.

A tense and enigmatic face emerges from the cracks, its skin fragmented like a weathered surface, revealing the passage of time and the fragility of existence. Faint, hermetic words are inscribed within the texture—barely legible, they hint at hidden meanings, urging the viewer to decode their message.

This piece is a testament to the transformation of discarded elements into new life, an exploration of impermanence, resilience, and the silent stories embedded in materiality.

Pace is a 40×70 cm mixed-media artwork that captures a fleeting moment of reconciliation, transformed into a lasting artistic expression. The piece is born from a deeply personal experience: a gesture of peace, represented by a bottle of wine and a rose, brought by the artist’s ex-partner.

These objects, once symbols of a shared history, are not merely painted but physically embedded into the artwork, turning their emotional weight into tangible texture. The piece reflects on how personal symbols can transcend their original meaning, evolving into something universal—an invitation to consider how objects hold memories, emotions, and narratives beyond their physical form.

With its unique material incorporation and emotional depth, Pace stands as a testament to the power of art to preserve and reinterpret personal moments, turning fleeting gestures into enduring stories.

Nei panni di chi? is a 200×100 cm mixed-media artwork that delves into the complex relationship between clothing, identity, and perception. Inspired by the age-old saying “L’abito fa il monaco”, the piece questions the power of attire: are we defined by what we wear, or do we choose clothing that reflects who we truly are?

Through bold textures and layered composition, this artwork presents dressing as a silent yet powerful language—one that can disguise, reveal, or transform. It challenges the viewer to reflect: Do our clothes serve as an expression of our true selves, or are they merely a constructed façade?

A thought-provoking and visually dynamic piece, Nei panni di chi? is an open-ended question in artistic form, inviting the audience to interrogate their own relationship with fashion, identity, and societal expectations.

Lost My Mind is a 100×100 cm artwork crafted with curving and cement, capturing the tension between control and instinct, will and automatism. The piece embodies a moment where the body twists, stretches, and contorts, as if trying to break free from an invisible constraint.

Is this movement a conscious act or an automatic response? Does true free will exist, or is our freedom confined to the realm of emotional utopias? These questions ripple through the textures and forms of Lost My Mind, making it not just a painting, but a philosophical inquiry rendered in material and motion.

A piece that challenges perception and provokes thought, Lost My Mind stands as a testament to the struggle between inner turmoil and external expression, pushing the viewer to reconsider the nature of autonomy and impulse.
