This painting was started at the ancient temple of Xambo and continued on the shores of Telchac Puerto, absorbing the essence of these powerful locations. The serpent, a central figure, was added after multiple real-life encounters with these creatures. It coils around the left leg, pointing toward the pelvis, evoking deep spiritual meanings. The artwork incorporates hammock-making threads and local objects, giving it a three-dimensional texture—an approach often seen in magical traditions.
